FIRST STONE
by Luke Taklo
Who will throw the first stone
with sin of their own?
Log heavy in the eye.
They’d kill the one
who’s come undone,
when surely we all should die.
.
Who will review the words
written out in the dirt?
Curses fall from the hand
and play their part.
With a heavy heart
the sinner will surely stand.
.

You continue to give me such chills, this time because it speaks true of so, so many people in my life I know of. Encore, my friend!
Yeah, the trick is not to turn around and judge those who are so willing to judge. Thanks for your kindness!
Luke, I like how your poem shines a bright light on “judging others” with just the fewest of words.
Thank you Karen!
Brilliant! Very cool!!!
Thank you!
